CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

"Over the past year, Diane motivated me to exercise regularly. She helped me set up my exercise bike and taught me the importance of consistency and listening to my body when exercising.
During our twice-a-week, half-hour workouts, she helps me maintain proper form - prioritizing good form over the amount of weight lifted. I feel stronger, and I like how she modifies exercises to accommodate the injuries and subsequent movement limitations I have. I feel safe while working out under her close supervision, and I am glad we are starting dynamic and vestibular balance training.
I recommend Diane to adults who want encouraging, positive help with functional exercises done safely and effectively.

"Diane is helping me reach my fitness goals by helping me work out more consistently and more effectively. I’m actually seeing progress; my arms, legs, core and back are noticeably stronger since I started working out with Diane.

She is engaging, motivating, and always makes sure I’m exercising safely while still being challenged.
Her approach keeps me accountable and makes exercise fun. I genuinely look forward to my workouts with her.

I highly recommend her to anyone looking for knowledgeable, supportive, and results-driven personal training."

"I found Diane through an online search and am so grateful that I did! Diane is a very experienced trainer, but she is also attuned to her clients’ individual needs; responsive to their goals; motivating; encouraging; inspiring and fun!
It’s the first time I’ve looked forward to working out. After just a few sessions with Diane, your commitment to strengthening and stretching increases because you realize she cares as much about your physical well-being as you do and truly wants you to be stronger.
I cannot recommend Diane highly enough."

"I am an 85-year-old client of Diane Kirwin. As a senior with some mobility concerns, I sometimes experience fatigue and weakness.
I want to say how fantastic my trainer, Diane, is.
From the very first session, Diane was kind, gentle and responsible. She listened to me and competently assessed my fitness level using seven tests.
We set a goal for me to become stronger and stay active.

As a Pharmacist with a Master's degree in Pharmacy and a Master's degree in Public Health, she is incredibly knowledgeable about the specific needs and issues that seniors face.
She comes to my home and trains with me- provides me with a weekly customized exercise workout that has already improved my energy levels, balance, strength and mobility.

Softspoken and cheerful, she encourages me, and her positive attitude and variety of exercises make our workouts enjoyable. I feel safe and comfortable with her, and our workouts have made me stronger in both my lower and upper body. I highly recommend Diane to anyone looking for a supportive and effective personal trainer.

After thoroughly assessing your health history—including physical limitations, past and present injuries, chronic conditions, muscular imbalances, and medications—I assess the potential impact on your ability to train safely and provide you with an optimal plan for modified foundational exercises.
Through collaboration with you, I create customized workout programs tailored to your goals, needs, and limitations, so you can improve your balance, mobility, strength, and functional abilities, making activities of daily living easier.
Just as muscles respond to weight training, your bones do too. I can guide you to safely and progressively load your bones to boost muscle mass and increase bone density.

If you look forward to your next session, consistent workouts are likely to increase your energy levels, improve your mood and sleep quality, prevent injuries, and help you embrace aging with agility.
My goal is to help you exercise safely, enjoyably, and regularly.
Your goals are my focus: experience the power of personalized results!

PARTNER PERSONAL TRAINING

$60 per person per 60-minute session
Special $50 person per session x 10 sessions = $800

Partner training includes training with a spouse, partner, friend, family member, or coworker.
Two people working together with one trainer can boost motivation and exercise adherence, as well as lower training costs.
Partner workouts are enjoyable and fun, leading to more challenging sessions and improved physical fitness, strength, and endurance.

Each participant receives individualized attention and guidance.
Likely, you will not break up with your gym buddy – you just seem to work out!
SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING

$40 per person per 60-minute session for three people training together
$30 per person per 60-minute session for four people training together
Special $20 per small group per 60-minute session x 10 sessions = $1800

Semi-private or small group personal training offers older adults a cost-effective and socially engaging way to improve their fitness. Train with two to three other people—friends, coworkers, spouses, or partners.

Small group sessions provide personalized attention, motivation, and a sense of community while being more affordable than one-on-one training. Please note that the cost per participant varies depending on class size. The maximum class size is four people.
Exercising with others can foster friendships, increase adherence and motivation in a supportive environment.
PICKLE BALL STRENGTH AND AGILITY TRAINING

$90 per person per 60-minute session

With my customized strength, flexibility, and agility exercises, you can enhance power in your shots, improve reaction time, and help prevent common injuries.

Pickleball requires agility, power, and endurance, as well as specialized training designed to increase performance on the court.
This program focuses on building strength, mobility, and injury resilience specific to pickleball. Unlike general fitness training, my approach emphasizes the movements, flexibility, and endurance required to move faster, hit harder, and play longer.
Dink harder- move faster and master the court with strength and agility!
.

BONE DENSITY IMPROVEMENT TRAINING

$90 per person per 60-minute session
$60 per person per 40-minute session

For women aged 50 and older with osteopenia or osteoporosis, I use evidence-based exercises to enhance balance, improve functional abilities, and strengthen muscles, thereby increasing bone density and reducing the risk of bone fractures.
Best evidence reveals that medication alone is not ideal, and in some cases, it can be deleterious and is associated with increased bone fracture risk.

After a thorough assessment of your strength, flexibility, and functional ability, I provide baseline measures, goal-setting, and a customized program to help you feel stronger, safer, and injury-free.

I can further tailor bone density improvement programs for those with arthritis. Concurrently increasing bone mass and decreasing the stiffness and pain levels of arthritis.

Movement is medicine for both of these conditions.

KYPHOSIS CORRECTION AND IMPROVED POSTURE TRAINING

$90 per person per 60-minute session
$60 per person per 40-minute session

Kyphosis correction and improved posture training focus on reversing kyphosis through targeted exercises and postural training. By stretching tight chest muscles, strengthening the upper body and core, and improving spinal alignment, this program helps create a more balanced, flexible spine for better overall posture.

A strong core supports the spine, and a flexible spine helps correct the kyphotic curve.

Key elements of this program include exercises that:

-
strengthen weak back muscles
-
stretch tight chest muscles
-
strengthen deep core muscles
-
increase flexibility in the upper spine
-
improve postural education to maintain spinal alignment
-
improve body awareness to prevent further progression and reduce spinal curvature
A healthy curve belongs in your smile, not your upper back!
