After completing her first Master's degree, she participated in sprint, Olympic, half-ironman, and Ironman triathlons. Diane won the provincial half-ironman championship and competed in Ironman Canada in Penticton eight weeks later.
Finishing in the top 10% of triathletes, she earned a spot at the Triathlon World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. After completing two Ironman-distance triathlons within six weeks of each other, she hung up her bike and focused on enjoying running and yoga.

With her academic and athletic background, as well as her ACE certification in personal training, she provides personalized training sessions at clients' homes, a non-profit fitness club, at her own home gym and a community centre in Edmonton's west end.
